• Data Supplement Figure I - (PDF) (19 kb). Hearts of mice with a cardiac-specific transgenic expression of calcineurin A or chronic stimulation with angiotensin II via an osmotic mini pump were removed and analyzed for myocardial expression of osteopontin by real-time PCR. In both animal models of cardiac hypertrophy and failure, osteopontin is markedly upregulated when compared to wild-type or sham operated animals, respectively.
